But instead of agreeing, Chang—following Hua’s instructions—tells Sheng he’ll need to consult his boss first, since everything related to the drug is personally managed by him. Even the research, which began two years ago, was started entirely because of his boss.
The next morning, while Hua and Sheng are sharing breakfast, Sheng receives a call.
He expects Chang, but it’s actually Shen Wanlang on the line. Shen coldly informs him that he’s now in charge of the medicine. His condition? Sheng must send Hua to X Hotel for one night—only then will he hand over the drug.
(Honestly, Chang’s little smile here caught me off guard—he looked so done with the endless love quarrels between these two S-class alphas 🤭)
Frustrated, Sheng hangs up immediately. He refuses to exchange Hua for his father’s life-saving medicine. Even though he feels guilty for failing to create a cure himself despite his wealth, he won’t sacrifice the man he loves.
Turning around, Sheng finds Hua standing behind him. Hua approaches, as if ready to speak, but decides against it.
Instead, Sheng gives Hua a goodbye kiss before heading off to work.
Later that day, Sheng gets a call from Yu Shan, who informs him that Mr. UKW will be attending the X Hotel’s social banquet that evening.
Sheng thanks him for the valuable tip and ends the call.
In the next scene, Sheng’s brother hatches a scheme to hurt him by ordering two men to kidnap Hua.
That evening at the banquet, Hua makes his way to X Hotel, but things take a sharp turn when his rut unexpectedly arrives early.
He’s immediately forced into isolation, locked inside a fortified room with reinforced doors and windows, his body bound by heavy chains to keep him away from Sheng.
The two men Shao Qing sent don’t even stand a chance.
The moment they step into Hua’s room, the suffocating wave of his pheromones crushes them flat.
They collapse instantly, while Hua, completely losing control, breaks free from his chains like a beast unleashed.
Meanwhile downstairs, Sheng is waiting alone for Mr. UKW’s arrival. But as the minutes drag on, his anxiety about Hua grows stronger. Finally, he decides to leave, convinced the guest isn’t coming.
Before he can go, though, Shen Wanlang steps in, blocking his path with that smug, casual attitude of his. He starts chatting like it’s no big deal, then drops the cruelest joke of the night—about them “sharing the same omega.”
That’s when Sheng loses it. His temper snaps, and he releases his suppression pheromones in full force.
Wanlang, being Wanlang, refuses to back down at first, standing his ground like he’s enjoying the chaos.
But when he notices Guo Tu struggling and suffering under the pressure, he finally pulls back. Sheng, realizing this fight could cause a public disaster, withdraws as well.
After Sheng storms off, Shen Wenlang shifts his attention to Gao Tu. With that trademark smirk, he asks why Gao Tu is always such a hassle when he’s “just a beta.” Then, as if to twist the knife, he teases him with the idea that maybe he likes Sheng.
Gao Tu only gives a faint smile, but before he can explain himself, dizziness overtakes him and he rushes into the restroom.
Meanwhile, Sheng checks his phone and notices multiple missed calls from Yong. His stomach drops—did Hua come all this way just to find him?
But before he can process, someone grabs him by the collar and forces him into a dark room.
Sheng pushes back hard, even landing a punch, but he can’t overpower Hua.
In the darkness, everything blurs, and Hua’s suppression pheromones overwhelm him completely.
Hua unbuttons Sheng’s clothes, kisses him with desperate intensity, pulls off his pants, and unclips his shirt stays.
Sheng, trembling with anger and helplessness, swears that if he ever finds out who this “lunatic” is, he’ll kill him with his own hands.
At the same time, Wenlang catches the scent of strong omega pheromones nearby and follows it into a room.
Inside, Gao Tu is in the middle of his heat. Recognizing Wenlang instantly, Gao Tu panics and tries to hide.
But Wenlang, being Wenlang, catches him easily.
Sheng wakes up at 4 PM the next day, his whole body aching.
Memories from the previous night keep flashing through his mind, making it hard to move.
Seeing him struggle, Chan Pinmang helps him sit on the sofa.
He tells Sheng that he brought him back safely, then hands him a letter Hua left behind and tells him Hua is missing.
Sheng’s hands tremble as he opens the letter.
“You can find someone like me again, but a father is irreplaceable. I don’t want you to regret choosing me, so I chose for you. Be better, smile more. We won’t meet again. I love you.”
Sheng stares at the letter, eyes red, chest tightening until he can barely breathe.
The proud Alpha, who was never allowed to cry, finally breaks down.
He covers his face, shoulders shaking, sobbing like a child who had lost his entire world. Without Hua Yong, it feels like all happiness has disappeared.
Meanwhile, Shen Wenlang is frustrated.
Gao Tu has been missing for three days—no calls, no messages—and now he asks for more days off just to care for his omega partner.
Shen can’t focus on work and keeps sending messages, but they go unread.
Hua Yong suddenly calls Shen, asking him to personally deliver Sheng’s father’s medicine.
Shen snaps, refusing and saying he’s not an errand boy.
Hua stays calm and tells him, “Do you want to see the photos of the omega you slept with yesterday?” When Shen asks for the photos, Hua says Shen must deliver the medicine himself to Sheng Fang tomorrow.
When Shen asks why Hua is coming along, Hua simply replies, “I told Sheng I was with you yesterday,” and hangs up.
Gao Tu is sleeping and dreaming about the night with Shen—where Shen grabbed his hands and demanded to know who sent him.
Gao Tu tries to escape, but Shen slams him onto the bed. His scent is overwhelming, and Shen uses his suppression pheromones to control Gao Tu.
Gao Tu begs for mercy, tears sliding down his cheeks, but Shen ignores him and kisses him repeatedly
At one point, Shen bites Gao Tu’s neck, marking him in the heat of the moment.
Gao Tu’s body trembles under Shen’s strength and pheromones, completely unable to resist.
Gao Tu wakes up to a call from his sister and goes to see her in the hospital.
She asks why he didn’t answer, and he says he was busy with work.
She notices bite marks on his neck and asks if he is dating anyone. Gao Tu denies it, saying they’re mosquito bites.
She complains about their boss being harsh, but Gao Tu defends him, insisting he is actually a good person.
